Buying Art

As our website is not yet able to take secure orders for the artwork displayed, we ask that you either telephone our Lake Road gallery on 015394 45470 to speak to a member of staff, or email us at info@galart.co.uk with your requirements.

All the pictures illustrated for sale on this website are described as accurately as possible. Details of measurements, frame specifications and materials used are given in good faith but if you are in any way unsure about the description given, please contact us to clarify your queries.

With regard to the purchase of original paintings, we always recommend that you see the piece in person as we are limited by our abilities to photograph the paintings accurately. If there is an original picture in which you are particularly interested, please contact the gallery to check that it is still available for sale and so that our staff can be made aware of your interest. A non-refundable deposit of 20% of the total purchase price will reserve an original piece for a period of up to 90 days.

If you are not able to visit the galleries to collect your purchase, we are pleased to offer a mail order service. Prices for this service vary (this does not include shipping goods overseas) depending upon the size and value of the pieces. We would be happy to advise of any additional costs prior to completing a payment transaction. As mentioned previously, we ask that you contact our Lake Road gallery on 015394 45470 to discuss your requirements.

Refunds and Exchanges

We do not offer refunds for goods sold through the galleries. If an item is found to be faulty or damaged, it will be replaced for an identical item or goods of the same value. If an item is returned within five working days, in its original packaging and in a saleable condition, then gift vouchers for the full amount may be offered in exchange. Claims for mail order goods which are damaged in transit must be made in writing (letter or email) within five working days of receipt of goods. Photographic evidence may be requested before settlement may be made. If an exchange is required, the customer is responsible for all carriage costs incurred, as well as insuring the goods to their full value whilst in transit.

Original paintings and artwork are not eligible for exchange or refund.
